Our Power Steering Service:

  • Alleviates steering squeal caused by sticking valves.
  • Corrects that "jerky" feeling on the steering wheel.
  • Helps Prevent Fluid Leaks.
  • Reduces wear.

Grooves are worn into the soft metal of the spool valve housing (left) by hardened seals in the spool valve (right). Metallic debris from such wear accumulates in the fluid causing premature
component failure.

This service should be performed every 40,000 km / 24,000 miles or every 24 months.  Your vehicle should be inspected and serviced every three months to ensure that the power steering system is functioning properly.  Keep in mind that although the power steering may be working properly and not causing any concern it may have a fluid leak that could cause severe damage if not tended to.
