This service should be performed every 40,000 km / 24,000 miles or every 24 months. Your vehicle should be inspected and serviced every twenty-four months even if you have not met the mileage limits for this service. Keep in mind that although the engine may be running properly other cooling system items may require attention. It is important to note that acid build up cannot be seen without testing for ph levels so you would not know of a problem until it was too late.
