Performing a transmission service will:

  • Smooth shifting
  • Extends fluid life
  • Condition seals
  • Help prevent leaks and expensive repairs

 

This service should be performed every 40,000 km / 24,000 miles or every 24 months.  Your vehicle should be inspected and serviced every twenty-four months even if you have not met the mileage limits for this service.  Keep in mind that this is one of the most critical "time interval services" that you can perform.
